Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Announces 2026 Inductees
Legendary artists and music icons join one of the most prestigious clubs in the industry

A new group of music legends is set to join one of the most exclusive institutions in the industry, as the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has announced its 2026 inductees.
This year’s lineup highlights a wide range of musical influence, bringing together icons from R&B, hip-hop, and rock. Among the most notable names are the late soul singer Luther Vandross, pioneering rap group Wu-Tang Clan, and British rock band Oasis.
The official induction ceremony is scheduled for November 14 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. Fans around the world will be able to watch the event when it airs later عبر ABC and streams on Disney+.
In total, 18 inductees have been selected across four different categories, reflecting both on-stage talent and behind-the-scenes impact.
The Performer category includes a strong mix of influential artists such as Phil Collins, Billy Idol, Iron Maiden, Joy Division and New Order, along with Sade, Vandross, Wu-Tang Clan, and Oasis.
Meanwhile, the Early Influence Award recognizes artists who helped shape the direction of modern music. This group includes Celia Cruz, Fela Kuti, Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, and Gram Parsons.
The Musical Excellence category honors influential contributors behind the scenes, including producer Rick Rubin and fellow industry figures Arif Mardin, Jimmy Miller, and Linda Creed.
In addition, legendary television host Ed Sullivan will receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award, recognizing his major influence on the music industry. Through his iconic show, he introduced audiences in the United States to groundbreaking acts, including The Beatles.
The 2026 class reflects the evolving sound of music while honoring the figures who helped shape it. From global superstars to cultural pioneers, this year’s inductees represent decades of creativity, influence, and lasting impact.
